alter coffer strap?

I have this miu miu Coffer which I love it so much, but I rarely (almost never) use it crossbody due to the strap is wayyy too long for me, so last weekend I went to the miu miu boutique and the SA told me that we could actually alter the strap.. just bring it to the boutique and they will alter for me.

Do any of you experienced in altering the Coffer strap in miu miu boutique??? what is your suggestion?? should I or shouldn't I?

I have small coffer and the strap is also too long for me. What my SA did was, she took off the hardware and just thread the strap through the gold ring, it instantly became a tad shorter. That's how I wear my strap now.
I don't know if they can cut the strap shorter for you though.

If you are going to enjoy using your bag to its fullest potential after altering the strap, I don't see why not.

I would just double loop the strape...
