I went to the mall yesterday to get nails done. Had a dior makeover. Had a nice lunch at Cheesecake Factory. Headed home. Half way home I realize my diamond bracelet is gone. I was heartsick. Drove the rest of the way home, checked the car, inside my bag, all my shopping bags. It is gone. Decided to call all the stores I had been in. Most of the people know me since I have been going to this mall for over 12 years.. called security, and customer service. NOTHING. Then I remembered I had made another stop. I had picked up a card also. It was one of those little setups in the center of the isle. The girl answered and I told her who I was, told her i had lost my bracelet, would she look around and see if she sees its, she said I have your bracelet. Bless her heart she didnt know how to find out where to get ahold of me. She had taken her card to customer service and told them she had found something if a customer called in looking. Sorry about the long story. I drove back to the mall to the sweet girl and picked up my lost bracelet. Gave her a nice gift card for being so kind. Friday ended up being a great day. So great to meet good honest people.

Yes, honest people are still around. I always turn in stuff I find to lost and found. In one case , I even mailed the wallet I found back to its owner.

Just a piece of advise, you may want to have your bracelet checked by a jeweler. Just because you lost it once doesn't mean it won't happen again. Kwim? The clasp could be broken or loose.

Wow, you must have felt sick! So glad you rewarded her honesty, good karma will come to he I am sure.

What a stressful situation; I'm sure you had an unpleasant adrenaline overload for a while there. So happy for you that it turned out well, and giving the clerk a gift card was a wonderful idea!
