Alma with a strap?

Hello everyone,
Recently I've been debating about doing an Alma BB because I love the bag but I also need the strap, I love how it looks on everyone and I love the colors.

The drawback is - the Alma PM seems like a better size for me. Unfortunately I need the strap because I have a toddler. Do any of you use larger size Alma's with a strap? I feel like that might look too awkward.

Right now I'm using a classic speedy 25 and I've found I need a strap. I was going to do a speedy b but the Alma vernis colors and the shape of the bag is so attractive to me

That is my dilemma with the Almas. Love them but wish I had the shoulder strap. Before the pandemic, I was after one in Rose Ballerine but never bought it. I love to carry the alma by the handles but would like the option of having a shoulder strap too. There are some modeling photos in the Alma Club thread that may help you visualize the look

My mother purchased an Alma about ten years ago in epi leather with a matching epi leather strap and that's how she wears it. She clasps it onto the handles and there's never been an issue in the ten years she's worn it. I can get a picture for you probably if you want to see it. I'd have to go over there though, she doesn't know how to take a picture with her phone and text it. :lol:

I have 9 Almas and they are all in the PM size, and each bag has its own strap to give me the option to carry on my shoulder as needed. I personally would not carry the PM crossbody, but it's great over the shoulder. I prefer to carry the bag by hand or in the crook of my arm, but there are times when the strap is handy to have, such as when I need my hands to carry other things. I keep the strap in my bag and just take it out as needed. The Almas have the extra loop on the handles for the strap, so why not use it. Also, the Neo Alma PM comes with a non-adjustable strap, which is a great length for shoulder carry.

I have 3 Almas they all have shoulder straps. My mono one is 20 years old and has rings for a strap that was sold as an optional extra. They are easy to wear on the shoulder but not cross body.
