Alma vs Locky?

I am very indecisive between the alma (probably bb) and the locky in creme. I love the fabric inside of the locky, the shape, and the color but I am nervous about the creme color, the fact that it is not a classic lv bag, and if the big lock on it is trendy. with the alma, I know it is classic. which is the more beautiful bag and which would you choose, and why?

I have the locky in noir and love the bag but like the alma bb as I can fit a sarah wallet in it. Depends on how you will use the bag...I love the lock detail on the locky...

Did you end up getting any of these bags? I bought the Alma BB because it’s classic but I actually don’t like the shape that much. I feel too mature carrying it. However the Alma is very roomy and practical.

But I actually think the shape of the Locky BB is far more stylish and modern. It is still very classic in design with the monogram. It’s cute to carry at night too.

Yes, I did. So first let me start with the locky- I totally agree with you. I think it overall is a much prettier handbag. The thing with it is that it is not a classic style and the giant lock turns me off. For those reasons, I couldn't take the plunge. If the locky is still in production down the line and they majorly downsize the lock, I will definitely purchase. Although, I am not hopeful as its name is literally "lock" lol. I did purchase the alma bb and it was a giant mistake. I totally agree that this looks juvenile and after using it a few times I was regretting my purchase. I then noticed major tarnishing on the lock and zippers. I was very upset and brought it back to LV. Instead of exchange I opted for a full return. Safe to say I am taking an lv break for a while..

Thanks for the update on this! I’m also torn between locky and alma bb.. and suddenly i see the alma bb everywhere in my town lol i haven't seen the locky anywhere except for the store.. i almost drop the locky cause as you said is a bit trendy with the big lock in front but then they release the caramel color and it’s in my wishlist again : D

just checked that out, its gorgeousss. cream is my favorite color so I totally get how alluring it is in a color you love. I also love the material on the inside of the bag, its cushy and beautiful. trendy doesn't mean bad, to me I steer far away but if you love it, go for it

Yes, when they have a bag in your favorite color its just make it even harder to be objective lol i’ll definitely gonna check this out on the store and try it in the caramel first.. i will mainly use it as crossbody so hoping this looks good for that.. cause the alma bb didn't look good as crossbody on me..

exactly! I also noticed for the locky that the handle falls down while wearing it crossbody and leaves an indent on the flap. just something to keep in mind

I’m curious what you decided on!!! I got both of the locky and the alma bb but they’re so different!!! I’m even thinking about selling the locky tbh. But it’s such a casual cute little bag

Great bag... nevertheless my vote is for Alma. Such a classic bag. Moreover they are going to launch Alma with a canvas strap in 2021 in new colours too.

Omg those are so cute!!!! How do you hear about upcoming launches? I would definitely Be interested in a canvas strap.
I think I will keep the locky bb until they launch another bag that interest me. Thanks
