Alma Vernis handle loosing lustre

I just realized that the handle on my alma vernis is losing its lustre a little. What can I do to get it back? I heard olive oil is good. Please help!

all i know is...the vernis is very sensitive to chemicals so avoid touching it after putting on make up, perfume etc. even to sunlight and heat.i have no idea how u cud get d lustre back. i hope it helps too

Ok. I guess I have to be careful with lotions as well.

Please don't put olive oil on your Vernis Alma. Are you near enough to the boutique to ask them what you can do about it? I have one, too and I make sure my hands are oil/lotion free when I touch the handle. If all else fails, I'm sure you can get the handles replaced (of course they will prolly charge you for it).
