Alma Vernis for everyday casual wear?

I love the Alma PM in black Vernis. I only wear very casual clothing-jeans and tees. Do you think this handbag is too dressy to wear with my clothing?

I think Vernis gives a very sophisticated vibe (inspired by 1950s-60s handbags). I don't find it casual at all. However, a quick look at what people wear on the street clearly demonstrates that everything goes these days. So, if you think it works for you and your style, why not?
