Alma bb - to keep Mono or Damier Ebene?

My Alma bb de is due to arrive from LV tomorrow. However I have just got hold of a monogram one from a (reputable) preloved website. It is near perfect condition and priced at 20% off RRP. I have never been a fan of babying handbags so I’ve often gone for de BUT I actually prefer the monogram canvas to damier ebene. Which would you keep?

I have 1 DE bag (the alma bb) and 3 monogram ones so I too prefer monogram a little bit more but for the alma bb style in particular I’d never get it in monogram only because the Vachetta is major and It’d be too stressful for me especially the bottom and the corners. I always try to choose the ones with minimal Vachetta.

Definitely Damier Ebene. If you get the monogram, you will always have to be careful about where you put the bag, if it gets wet then there will be water stains on the bottom.

I have the Alma bb in DE and I love it. Not going to have to baby this bag as compared to all the vachetta that’s on the mono bag. I think this bag was made to be in DE.

Personally I would keep DE. I'm not a person that is afraid of vachetta by any means, but the all vachetta bottom will mean some babying of the bag. I prefer mono also, but for some styles DE makes more sense.

The Alma BB in DE is particularly attractive, one of the best combinations they've produced.

Definitely DE. I just wore my Alma bb in DE when it was raining this past Saturday. Totally stress free. If I had my Graceful in mono I would have been crying.

I would take the one from LV which is the DE

No LV at the minute. Sold them all. I’ve got a mono Clemence wallet, mono Kirigami set and mono RCP.

Like others have mentioned, the Alma BB in the DE print is especially stunning! I love mine and highly recommend it.
