Alma bb strap too long - help!

I've ordered an Alma bb epi noir-yay! (thanks for everyone's opinions on my other thread!).

I'm only 5'0 and well aware the strap is going to be too long (I've tried it on before).

Can LV still shorten straps? I know they used to many years ago. I've messaged my SA and awaiting her response but just wondering if anyone else has had any luck.

I'm also debating buying a strap from mcraft but worried the quality won't match that of the bag and might look (and feel) .... Off.

I don't think I'm game to have the strap shortened by a cobbler.

My last option is using my Pochette metis reverse strap or black odeon strap (very thick) with it instead but I think the clash of the gold hardware with the silver might annoy me.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

I had my Alma bb strap shortened at LV. I can't remember if it was by 10cm or 12cm. Took about 4 weeks in repair to get it back. Hope this helps

I'm in Singapore. Yes it is good length now. The strap length now is about 104cm including clasps.

May i know the charges for this? Sorry i am not familiar with Alma’s strap, do they remove the excess leather, or is the shortening done by adding holes onto the strap? Thank you!

I wasn't charged anything. They shorten the leather by cutting it at the end and reattaching the clasp, not adding holes to the strap.

You may want to try bringing it in store. Would be helpful if you have an in-store SA. Good luck!
