Hi all
I have the alma bb in Damier Ebene and never reach for it. Part of the reason is I don’t like matte leather. I had wanted the shiny leather but they changed to matte. And I always hesitate to use it because of fear of water marks on it—I’ve seen some posts on here where people showed pics of water stains on the matte leather. Anyway I’m thinking of letting it go and getting the alma bb in Epi leather. From what I’ve heard—the Epi is all weather. What is your experience with Epi leather? Is it really all weather? I want to make sure before I take a loss on the Damier Ebene alma bb. Thanks for your help!

My epis are good in every weather. Just wipe it down when done. I've had epis over 25 years old, and they look amazing. But I do take care of my epis. I try to keep them safe from scratches. That's about the only thing I worry about with Epis. And I have dark/black colored ones. If you get light colored ones, watch out for color transfer.
