I have seen/touched knuckleduster clutches IRL and unless they have made them bigger, it will not fit an iPhone. One of the reasons I passed on them. I also only ever had the iPhone Pro (bigger) phones too though. Good luck.
Thank you! I don’t have the iPhone pro but I still think I’d probably struggle to fit more that a lipstick, credit card and set of keys. 🤔

I have a narrow knuckle clutch (more of a pill shape than this longer variety) so length wise my phone had no chance of fitting in mine, but the clutch is also very narrow in width. Even if the long style can accommodate a phone, I doubt you’d be able to fit much else. Mine basically only holds one lipstick, gum, and cards.

The interior structure is actually much smaller than the exterior appears.

I’d also keep in mind that the heavy embellishment may create snags in any clothing you wear with it. My clutch features heavy beading and embellishment and, while stunning, I’ve found it to be very impractical. I’ve already damaged a nice pair of trousers and a skirt that I’ve worn with the clutch, despite being hyper aware of not brushing the clutch on the fabric.

It’s an exquisite piece but very fussy!

How fun, I just found this thread!
Here is my lovely and theatrical Alexander McQueen leather jacket, worn to a school fundraiser because I was feeling rebellious; quite underdressed, but feeling like *myself* in an atmosphere that often feels very fake and image-conscious.

Wow, you look amazing!

I hope lots of money was raised.

Great insight, thank you!

On the subject of the knuckle clutch, has anyone here successfully flown with this item? I know that they’re not allowed in your carry on but I worry about checking it. It’s the perfect purse for upcoming black tie events and I’d be pretty disappointed if I couldn’t actually use this beautiful bag for the most fitting occasions. I’m wondering if there are any protective tactics I can employ (ie. Discreetly hiding an AirTag inside it, etc) to insure parting with it safely. Any suggestions or success stories? Or should I just leave it at home?

I don’t want to discourage you if you love it! I prize mine as a collector’s piece and work of art, my only gripe is wishing they had married form and function!
I just pulled the trigger on a pre-owned piece, for the reason you said. I see it as a collector’s piece and have wanted one for years. Not to mention the dress I’m wearing has pockets and I can hide my phone in there without it being visible 😂
