All black watch for BF

I am looking for an all black watch for my BF that is under $500 (preferably under $300, but I'm willing to spend a little more if it's amazing) and I'm hoping you gals can help.

He really likes the Luminox SR-71 , but it is $700+ everywhere I've seen and I just can't swing it.

The only thing that he has told me that he wants are a black strap and a black face. He said he prefers the watch to be metal but that a fabric strap would be tolerable. He likes the military type look with the little chronograph things on the face, but those aren't a necessity. He likes a more manly watch so probably nothing metro.

my bf just got the black nixon watch... it's $500 from revolve, but he used a 25% code, and got it for $375! Here is the link.. it's def a bigger manly watch.

Thanks! I actually found that one before and showed it too him and he said it was too clunky. So I guess he wants something rugged but that is also streamlined and doesn't have too much going on. He has a smaller wrist so I guess he doesn't want to be overwhelmed but still wants it to look tactical inspired? I don't know. Guys are so hard to buy for!

You might want to check out Citizen's eco-drive line - they have some watches that would fit what you are looking for.

Have you had a look at Fossil? The Men's section has heaps of all black watches.

Thanks! Fossil is a little on the cheapy side so I don't think he'd like it. He is so picky I think he just needs to pick it out himself but I appreciate the ideas.

Yeah I thought it might've been a bit cheap after I posted. It's hard buying for others! Just another couple of suggestions, there's Michael Kors which still might look a little cheap or Emporio Armani have a broad selection and look slightly better in quality. Good luck with the search!

I don't know about your bf, but if he mentioned a specific watch, including the specific model number, I doubt he'd be satisfied with anything else.

I would suggest getting a different gift for him that's not a watch, or to wait for the next big occasion and combine both and get him the dream watch then.

He really loves the watch I mentioned- but he doesn't want another expensive watch is the problem. He has a nice Omega but he doesn't wear it on a daily basis because he doesn't want to mess it up, so that's why he showed me the specific watch he liked that was above my price range but he wants something with a similar feel but much cheaper so he can wear it daily and not worry about it.
