Hello all! Long time lurker and brand new poster! Looking to buy a pre owned Marignan in sesame, I’m just extremely wary of buying a fake and I’m noticed a lot of the Pre-Owned bags have a totally different alignment of the pattern on the front flap as compared to the Marignan currently on the LV site. Does anyone have any input on why or any info? From what I can tell, possibly the older bags have a different alignment where there are only 3 LVs in a row (this is an easy way to desire the pattern) and the current year has the 4 LVs in a row. I’ve seen the “older pattern” on stockx, the real real, brag my bag, and some blog posts. I’ll attach pics to describe what I’m talking about. Thanks everyone for reading and any info/reassurance you could give me.

Thanks guys! Most of the older ones I see, even on I trust like stockx, FASHIONPHILE, etc some have three LVs and I would buy from stockX and never question it, but I have to wonder why LV shifted the alignment IF they did. I THINK maybe I have a theory, bc most of he older bags are from 2017; 2018 have the three LVs, so I assume it changed but I cannot prove that and no one seems to know and it’s driving me crazy. I may just look at another pre owned bag! Lol.
I'm sorry I can't give you a definitive answer. A different preowned bag may be a good idea - I'm taking a trip to my local LV store next week as my Marignan is losing its structure at the sides, the canvas is buckling at the corners, the flap won't sit straight, and it doesn't sit upright - it topples over whether full or empty, and it's driving me crazy! I know that a few other Marognan owners have experienced similar issues. If you do end up going for the Marignan, be sure to check it over x
So in 2017/18 LV had the three LV logos and then they switched the alignment to four LV. I don’t know why but I think because of the VAUGIRARD which has the three LV. I could be wrong but I think since the bags are very similar they wanted the Marignan to have 4....I have not discussed with an SA but that’s just my opinion.
