Alhambra ring owners: how did you choose your ring size?

I have been obsessing over the black onyx alhambra ring and lo and behold my local VCA had not 1 but 4 different size options. So I brought home this beauty.
One was a bit tight for my middle finger, hard to fit over the knuckle but very snug once on (but the clover did not move)
The other fits just right over my ring finger knuckle and I prefer how it looks on my ring finger. But it does swivel around a bit once on.
Hoping to hear from others on their decison making process/logic!AD5F8B1B-A026-4F79-B8B3-C909FC446E34.jpeg

I would choose the larger size that fits more comfortably over your knuckle and which you like the look of more, but that can spin. I have this problem often, though I do not have an Alhambra ring. This is because I have very small fingers, while my knuckles are a bit larger, and I like rings with a larger face so they are more likely to spin. This seems like a tacky solution, but on a whim I purchased a pack of the little plastic/latex ring sizers available on Amazon and was shocked at how comfortable they are and make the ring sit perfectly, but I can still get it off without panicking, even if my fingers are swollen. I actually purchased the sizers initially just to see if I should get the ring sized down to my finger size vs my knuckle size, but I have been wearing it this way for about two weeks now and totally forget that I’m wearing it because it works perfectly for me. If you want a more permanent and classy solution you could put in a couple of sizing beads inside the band, which would accomplish the same thing. I will add a photo showing the sizer on the ring I am wearing; you really cannot tell. I had to trim one down a little bit (about ~5 of different size band widths come in a pack), because the longer the sizer is, the smaller it makes the ring, so you trim it down to the perfect fit. It took my ring from a size 5.5 to a 4.75 which is now perfect for both easily going over my knuckle and for my finger (previously the ring would fly off at night sometimes while I was sleeping). This temporary fix is nice because I have 2 more fingers that are 5.25 and 5.5, so now I can wear the ring on those fingers if I want to still.
