Thanks to everyone who kindly commented on my previous thread! I ordered a sweet hammered gold pendant a few days ago but then had a fear that the vintage might be a better option. I then ordered the vintage in gray MOP to provide a real contrast to determine which looks best, and it arrived today. I’m definitely leaning one way but am curious what everyone else thinks, especially because I’m so new to VCA. Thoughts? (Please note that I’ll be lengthening the winner since I wear a lot of round neck tops.) Thanks as always for your input!

I like them both on you! It all comes down to your lifestyle & preference. If you prefer a low maintenance piece that you can keep on 24/7, wear it alone or stack with other pendants, definitely stick with the sweet RG hammered. With VA GMOP you're best to take it off before shower and exercising since prolong exposure to water and other chemicals (from body wash, lotion, perfume, etcs) will cost the GMOP to lose its luster and shrink. Maybe you can do VA RG hammered as a happy medium?

Edit: Just realized you also purchased the sweet carnelian earrings. I think the RG hammered pendant in either sweet or VA size will go perfectly with your sweet carnelian earrings :yes: whereas GMOP would look a bit out of place

I definitely thought I’d vote for the VA GMOP (as that’s what I have and it’s my fave!), but the RG sweet looks sooooo good on you! You have the perfect skin tone for it.

I always take off my jewelry at night, but thank you for the reminder how delicate MOP is. I didn’t think of which would look best with carnelian! Thank you! I was definitely leaning toward the sweet:-)

Yes, you already got yourself an unofficial set with the sweet hammered and carnelian earrings. Also it may take some time to get used to the sweet size for pendant. I felt the same when I first got my sweet carnelian pendant & 2nd guessed my decision, but I've been really loving how dainty it is and comfortable to wear, I rarely reach for my VA size pendants now. :amuse:

Both are pretty on you <3 I like the hammered gold coloring on you, it seems to pop better than the gray MOP, in my view. Hammered gold in the vintage size would be great!! If not, I vote to keep the sweet size hammered gold pendant :)

Yay! So glad you'll actually get to see the vintage and sweet hammered for comparison. The all RG suits you. I can't wait to see the comparison pics.
