I am thinking about this too!! I one draw is because this specific Alhambra is the only standard stock one I don't see ALL the time (IRL and on SM)! Plus, it's mostly care free, sparkly and Alhambra is just classic, esp in pave. I have an alternating pave one (GMOP and pave) and once I had it shortened to a length where there is less movement, the amount of flipping greatly reduced. My mom has another but it hasn't been shortened and it flips a lot! When I mean "shorten" I don't mean just a bit, nor do I mean skin tight. Rather to a length where there is enough room to fit a finger or two in comfortably. That will reduce the amount of times you need to readjust/flip it. It will happen, just far less. I assume it would be similar with the full pave. If you're considering alternatives to all pave five motif, I note the above recommendation from @GlamarousBarbie, which is also a lovely suggestion (unless you have one or hate bangles). I have the regular wg perlee clover and I have been pondering whether to add one in another gold down the road (it's a totally different vibe from Alhambra) but I've seen sooooo many recently it's like it has become the new social media (note I say SM) pave Love bracelet (mind you, I love my pave Love so I guess in the end who cares)!!!! As for the Alhambra, it adds a softness to bangles and it's a lovely combination (all consideration of scratches aside).Any feedback on this piece? Could not find any discussions about Alhambra pave diamond bracelet on the forum.
Do the motifs flip? Is it worth getting?
Thank you.
Thank you for your reply. I was also thinking of stacking with other Alhambra bracelets. Do you notice motifs flipping a lot or it’s not an issue?I have the alhambra pave bracelet, clover, and sweets clover. I love all 3 bracelets. I enjoy stacking the 5 motifs pave with my other alhambra bracelets…
Thank you for your reply! Did you have it shortened or wear as is?I have the pave Alhambra. It flips. Which I knew beforehand. It doesn’t bother me too much though… I like that it’s comfortable in comparison to the clover bangle.
I like the alternating diamond motifs also. But for me, that option is a little worse, because it’s much more likely that both diamond motifs will be flipped over. With 5 diamond motifs, it’s much less likely that every single one will be showing the underside.
For most people, though, I think the clover is the more appealing option. It’s at the same price point, it feels substantial, and it doesn’t have the issue of diamonds being flipped to the wrong side.
Shortened.Thank you for your reply! Did you have it shortened or wear as is?
