Hey,

Am quite new to Louboutin (Obviously, as I'm a guy), and was delighted to find that they'd started doing men's shoes a couple of months back. So, I bought the trainers in white and brown, both which I absolutely love, and both which have rubber soles - so no problem there. I've now bought the Alfred Python flat, and to my horror, after wearing them for just a few hours the red soles have started to wear away.

I should've expected it, but didn't really think about it beforehand to be honest. My question is, what is the best way to maintain the soles on the flats, bearing in mind they are worn away a lot more than the heels? It's mainly the front and the heel. What are the red rubber soles like on Ebay? Are they a good colour match? I also read about the Paint and Plasti-Dip on one of the threads on here - how effective is it and how long does it last?

Is it possible to get clear rubber soles anywhere, or is that something which in my imagination would work wonderfully but just doesn't exist? Any help would be appreciated, because each step I take I just imagine the red wearing off and being left with plain soled shoes

Thanks in advance!
