Just wondering how durable the alcantara lining is. I'm thinking about buying the discontinued Babylone and am worried that the lining will start cracking and peeling like many of the Bucket linings have. Do the Buckets have the alcantara lining? My other choice is the Cabas Piano with the fabric lining. How is the durability of the fabric linings? Thanks!

My petit bucket (mono) has vuittonite loining.
My MC Priscilla has the alcantara lining and it has held up very well.

It will wear out, especially in areas that are near the top of the bag. Especially more noticeable if the lining is the red/orange color. I notice this in my MC bags and Damiers with the alcantara lining. It's unavoidable. I ususally spray my interiors with scotchgard to help with stain repelling, but this lining is not as durable as the traditional brown canvas, which is able to tolerate more of the abuse.
