I don't get the premise. I thought Alaska was the one place on earth where the male:female ratio was 3:1 or something like that. So why are they having such a hard time. They need to film this in Charlotte NC where the ratio is 1 man for every 12 women

I think it's like that phrase that seems to be in every commercial for the show " the odds are good but the goods are odd." They want to get dressed up and go out on dates but the guys in Alaska aren't into that so that's why they're going to Miami. That's my understanding of it anyway

I found the first episode boring. I was hoping they would get to Miami already!

I think most of the women are on kodiak island hence the seclusion from the rest of alaska.I'm sure if you go to anchorage and Juneau it's probably better. I think I heard one of them say there aren't any grocery stores and the gas station is open mon, wed, fri from 12-1. The show looks interesting though.

I think I am watching the second episode and so far I really like all of the girls. They are totally down to earth and the lack of drama is nice. Hope it stays that way.

In starting to think the whole thing is way to staged...I think they even set up the guys to approach them like they do

The first guy that was the "fitness expert" just wanted to plug his crossfit gym. Then, the other guy just happens to walk up to them on the beach?...Sooo staged. Which is sad..cause I think this show could have been really fun!.
