Hello ladies. I need your help in choosing a new crossbody/tote bag for myself.

I really can't decide between these two. Both have straps and can be worn as a tote or cross-body.

I am 5.3ft tall, petite shape and in my mid30s with a toddler.. I know the perforated style suggest this to be the perfect summer bag, and I constantly hear that the lighter shade bags are far more beautiful. However, the dual leather(?) garance bag also looks sturdy and beautiful and perhaps a bag I could carry all year-round. Will a white Alaia be too much for a mom with a toddler son? I have a separate diaper bag so I am just looking for something to hold my personal stuffs.. Any thoughts will be much appreciated!

I don’t have kids so can’t comment on the practicality, but I love Alaia bags and think the white is many times more beautiful than the black. I would get the white bag, and find something different (probably not Alaia) for an all-season black bag.

Thanks alot for your feedback! I agree with you. I actually ordered a black mina bag once and was disappointed by how plain it looked.. as opposed to lighter colored ones that stand out.

This bag is hard to find, and it comes in a thinner version that is much less practical, but this is my go-to black crossbody. You can try googling Gucci Jackie flap crossbody, but be warned, there are a lot of Gucci "Jackie" styles and you'll have to sift through a lot. Gucci Jackie Soft is also worth googling. Hi! They both look perfect, so it's more depending on the use case that you prefer.
White is certainly a more suitable choice for summer, black perhaps more versatile.

I've purchased Mina 25 in red. If I didn't have white bags in my collection I'd go for Mina 25 in white :)
