He wasn't quite down to zero because he still had two houses and sold one of them. I wish journalists would be accurate and state facts up-front instead of click-bait headlines.
He basically lost all his cash/investments. Yes, he was not destitute but still.
His biography sounds decent.
Maybe he can explain how he managed to impregnate a woman in his eighties.
PS: she moved on to being with Bill Maher :giggle:

No, I don't believe that. I find it impossible to believe that he was so unaware.

If anyone is spending that amount on a gardener, then the saying "a fool and his money are soon parted" is applicable.
Even if he had a gardener/arborist on staff, it sounds outrageous.
Then again, I am sure they were not planting begonias and impatients but rather exotic plantings.

He must have had some money, otherwise why would she have bothered to get pregnant by him?
To be honest I don't think she is that sharp. I think she just saw an older famous guy and thought she'd set herself up for life this way... neglecting the fact he likely realizes exactly what se did and he is probably already set in how he wants his estate divided up when he passes. Hopefully he is a nice guy who treats all his kids equally, but I would not be surprised if he doesn't.

Apparently, she likes her chips a little on the stale side.
