May a wallet purchased at Hermes Heathrow Airport be exchanged in a Hermes city store in another country? The receipt states exchange is possible within 3 months but that some countries only allow exchange if bought locally.

I forgot to ask whether it has to be another airport store.

Also, anyone knows how they determine the amount of credit given the different currency?

Yes you can do exchange at any H stores in any country.
Normally they will encourage you to exchange with the same item so difference in currency/selling price will not matter. But if not, as far as I know, it'll be in the amount of the stores' selling price of that item.

Please have a look in these threads, as this issue is discussed there, though it may be most expedient to call the store to which you want to make the return/exchange and just ask. I know if some stores did not order the item, they may be unwilling to take one as a return, regardless of the policy. Good luck!
