I just ordered and received my first Gucci bag. It's the caleido tote. I tried to do research but only found a couple threads on here with people who have it. Is there a reason it's unpopular? I was really torn between caleido, caleido reversible and blooms reversible. Blooms seems most popular. What tote do you ladies recommend and why? Also after first bag what wallets do you like?

Congrats on your gorgeous bag! I think a lot of people stick to more classic designs (maybe for reselling or just because they like the classic look of a brand) but I think your bag is lovely, so different! I hate having the same bags as other people so if you're like me, you'll enjoy your bad

Thanks. That's exactly why I sold my neverfulls and got this. I was torn between the caleido or blooms. Which do you prefer?

I like both too. I order the blooms to see in person before I make final decision but think I'll still be torn. I'm not worried about matcha matchy. But wonder how blooms will look with some prints.

I'd be torn as well! But knowing my practical side, I'd lean towards the Caleido bc it's more neutral. Goes with more. However, the Blooms makes my heart sing! I'd smile each time I used it.

Question to TPFers - is there a potential problem with the closure style of the Blooms bag? Would the constant bending up/down of the canvas flaps to open/close the bag, eventually cause the canvas to crack? And wouldn't this flap area become dirty from direct contact with fingers?
