Advice restoring Vintage Chanel

Hi everyone, I recently bought a vintage single flap Chanel that was in great condition other than the fact that the hardware had fell off, and the previous owner used superglue to glue it back together. I have spent many hours on YouTube watching restoration videos and picked up on this hobby.

So far, I used Cadillac conditioner, kiwi, and removed the glue off. Now, I’m a little stuck. Hoping to get some advice.

-I will be using leather filler and leather paint on the damaged flaps (not too worried because the hardware will cover it)

-Anyone know how I can fix the push lock or where I can buy a replacement? I’m stumped. Or can someone tell me the official name of this kind of lock so I can google the mechanism to repair?

-How do I condition the leather on the chain without having to take the leather part out?

Any advice is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Personally, I don't trust myself with restoring a bag. I'd probably send it of to a place like Leather Surgeons.

Also, there's no other way to condition the leather part of the chain than to take it out, that's why I'd rather leave it up to the professionals.

Leather Surgeons videos are also on Youtube:
