Shady business at Hermes VIENNA, Austria. Come forward and share your experience!

oh thank you....but i am not on the largest budget and getting accessories that they would have in stock, so my primary concern is to save money, i hope i can find out which location is cheaper

Vienna will be cheaper because thy use they use the Euro. Czech is always more expensive for designer goods. My suggestion though is get what you want when you see it because you never know what you might find (or not) at another store. The Vienna store is bigger than Prague but I find Prague to be more jam-packed with goodies. LOL

With stocks, it just really varies what they are willing to show, either out on display or personally to each client. Since your main concern is savings, I suggest for you to repeatedly visit both boutiques persistently throughout the duration of your stay. If you see it and you want it, buy immediately as chances are, someone is waiting for you to refuse the item so they can purchase it for themselves. Sticker price will be equal or less than stateside to begin with, and factoring in additional sales tax in the states versus VAT refund for the exact same purchase in both countries, you will still save money. You're going to buy those items on your wish list anyway, buy them if/when you see them in Europe to save, whether a little or a lot.

All that speaking from firsthand experience with both Vienna and Prague btw :) Look for Antonia or Sabine in Vienna, and Olga in Prague. If you decide to visit Salzburg, look for Marina. All ladies are helpful, polite and patient. Good luck and enjoy the H-unt!

By any chance, did you check out the scarves? If so, what was the selection like? Lots of variety?

I did check scarves and bought one. Very tempted to buy another one. The new oversized Twilly ImageUploadedByPurseForum1383119672.724445.jpg but haven't yet. Seems like they have very very low stock on bracelets. Someone bought the last small clic clac in black and gold right before I asked to try it on. Luckily the white looked better on me ImageUploadedByPurseForum1383119758.325117.jpg. As far as scarves go I wouldn't say they have every style bc a few I liked online they didn't have but the ones they did have they had in multiple colors

Happy day for me in Prague! The original owner did not turn up for this Blue Jean Lindy 34. The SA was really nice!!! If she is reading this, thank you so much!

The price wasnt as scary as I thought it will be as compared to Paris. The price for this in Paris is €5180, as per stated on the pricelist in the H thread. And I got this at CZK125,000 (~€5000). I hope I got my math right here.

So maybe H stuffs here are not as bad as I think.

Glad to hear you had a pleasant time in Prague H with Olga. On her day off, another female SA who was super nice tried to assist us but we had the language barrier, wherein an @$$ of a co-SA refused to assist her with translations. Ugh that male SA! Ok end of rant, anyway....love your LOVE bracelets, btw! Did you have a chance to visit Cartier down the street also?

Congratulations! Enjoy your Lindy, she is lovely :smile1: Do you remember which SA assisted you? Am glad to hear of wonderful experiences in Prague. SAs truly determine clientele's experiences in H, and hopefully they always keep in mind how mutually rewarding these relationships can be if they do their best by their clients.

Thanks ladies!!!! I actually did stop by Cartier to see the baby love necklace butttt from what he told me it would cost $4 more than what it sells for in the states. I felt like he made a mistake or there were no savings at all so I passed and made myway to hermes lol
