Advice please: GHD IV in Pure came in unhappy condition...

Just got GHD styler in pure yesterday. However, the top of the white box it came in was ripped like somebody was trying to open it through the top instead of opening in the middle, which you can flip. I bought it from the official ghd website so I know it's authentic. The styler itself does not seem to be used although there was a tiny tear on the plastic cover it's encased in.

Should I return it? It just upsets me that I spent all this money and it did not come in good condition as it should have.

Yes, if the plastic is torn at all I would exchange it.

Is the iron itself damaged or used looking? If not I personally wouldnt worry about it.

If the GHD itself isn't damaged, returning (to me) isn't worth the hassle. I don't keep boxes, anyway, so stuff like that doesn't bother me.

If the product isn't damanged, I wouldn't worry about the boxes. But, if you're really unsatisfied, you should write them an e-mail telling them you're disappointed in the manner your iron was shipped.
