Hi all,

I’m wondering if anyone has any advice on purchasing a Chanel 19.

here are the pics of the bags I’m considering.. does anyone have advice as to which may be better quality? Are there years for the 19 that are better quality? Also, any preference on Karl or Virginie?

Thank you so much everyone!

Karl's was basically only the 1 season of the 19, it was his last launch so to speak, before he passed. In the earlier series there was Goatskin as well as Lambskin, which should be a bit hardier, but are now a few years old so it would depend on what condition you found it in. I've also seen the goatskin go for more pre-loved especially in excellent condition as people most likely feel it will hold up better than the lambskin. However the lambskin used on the 19 is quite hardy and not as delicate as you may think based on Classic Flaps.

Hi, I have a 2023 19 shiny dark beige that in hindsight was a regrettable purchase. I don't buy bags to sell but I have always heard that was an option but I am finding this not to be true. My bag still has the plastic on the hardware and receipt never used it, but I am getting offered half of what I paid and even having some sites pass on it? So it seems like I need to just use my bag.. with that being said.. does anyone have any advice or experience with the Shiny (iridescent) dark beige 19? (how to care for it, does it color transfer, and what do you actually wear it with?.) and/or is there any better place to sell for a competitive price? They are almost $900 more on the site for Spring 24. So to the original poster- only get it if you love it and really want to use. Thank you!
