Recently I plunged into fine jewellery and I feel I'm happy with my stack now except for one more item. A ring. I've been scrolling Cartier and bvlgari website but somehow nothing makes my heart sing for now.
I've always been interested in coloured gems (like just reading and admiring) and I feel I'm at a good juncture to explore more.
Yellow sapphire is my stone (astrology wise; and lucky they are not that expensive compared to other colors). I have some very old small gems of such but I want to go big this time
Please help me see if this is a good stone I can put my money in. Setting into a ring. Appreciate your opinions.
Variety : peach sapphire
Colour : yellow peach
Size : 8.50x7.10x5.10
Weight : 3.07 carats

Origin : Sri Lanka
Clean, no inclusion.
Actually I asked him for yellow sapphire but he sent me this. Not sure what's the catch. I do have a handful of recommended sources including cutters. This is just a first one I'm enquiring.
