Hello! I will be celebrating the birth of my 3rd (and final) child this September. I was looking to commemorate the occasion (as well as to celebrate our family) with a purchase from Cartier that I would have engraved. I was wanting to spend less than 10k on the purchase. I *think* I have it narrowed down to 2 choices and would like your advice on which purchase you would make as this would be my first purchase from Cartier.

Choice 1: The classic trinity ring with each band engraved with each child’s name along with the rose gold tank solo watch with the brown alligator strap with an engraving sentimental to my husband and I, or

Choice 2: the yellow gold Love bangle engraved with each child’s birthdays and my husband and I’s Anniversary date.

Or something else? Thank you so much!

I'm biased, but I'd go with the Love bracelet. There's nothing more romantic and symbolic to remember these events in your life than to have them engraved on a piece of jewelry you wear permanently. My wife and I have our wedding date and anniversary dates engraved on the inside of our Love's. You may have to go with the non diamond version to have enough room for all of those dates!

Thank you so much for your responses. [emoji4] I will be going to the boutique to try everything on. No matter what I choose, I want it to be something that I wear a lot, so want it to be comfortable.

Both options are really sweet. Would you be comfy wearing the LOVE permanently, for me that's a big consideration. When my (one and only) son was born I had his name, DH and mine engraved on each ring of a Trinity ring. I wore it for his early years instead of wedding band and e-ring to avoid scratching him. Later DH gifted me a LOVE for our anniversary and I chose a cuff because my job required me to remove all hand jewellery for surgical procedures. These points were relevant to how I made my choices. I hope you find the best option for you. Congrats!

Thanks so much Periogirl! I am definitely wondering how the Love would feel on as a permanent piece as well as how the Trinity ring would feel (seems like it may hurt the fingers next to it). I am planning on wearing the trinity instead of my wedding band and engagement ring for the same reasons as you.

I vote the Trinity and the Love CUFF :D I am biased as I have the Trinity and have each of my three kid's names engraved. I did ask mine what colors they wanted to represent them and enjoyed involving them a little in the purchase. If you do both the Trinity and the Cuff (they'd together be less than the 10k limit) then you could engrave the kids' names on the Trinity and Anniversary or something sweet on the Love. :D

I vote for the Trinity and maybe a watch. I wear the small Trinity ring (one size smaller than the regular one) daily and it's so comfy! I bought it for my 25th birthday last year and had my grannys, my moms and my birthdays engraved in each ring. It did hold up really well, too. Of course there are some micro scratches but overall it's in wonderful condition considering I wore it each day for more than a year.
