Advice - keep or exchange?

So I need some help. I dread buying from online because I hate not being to check the bag over before taking it home. But I caved and bought the micro djoy online at the very last minute before the price increase and now I’m stuck in this dilemma. The outside looks perfectly fine but then I find this noticeable mark on the inner suede. I immediately went into my Dior to ask about options (was hoping they could easily fix the mark) but was told there’s nothing they can do there. The SA said I can try to exchange it online but who knows if they’ll mail me another one with different defects. He said the store can order me a new one so I can inspect in store like I alway do, but then this means it’ll be at the new price. I don’t know if I’m bothered enough by the mark to go through all the trouble. Does it bother anyone else? I know we all would like a perfect bag esp at this price point but I read enough horror stories in this forum about Dior online service that I’m conflicted. Would appreciate other ppl’s thought on what I should do. Thanks!
 
We both bought ours online and I had similar issues (minor mark on the exterior, the leather tag having weird scratches on it)

After sending pics to CS online they offered to take my bag back for an exchange, or to exchange in store but my bag is out of stock in both atm and I'd have to wait for a new one. This doesn't work for me as I'm going overseas next week and want to claim the TRS.

Decided I'm just going to keep mine as the loss of not being able to claim money back outweighs the minor imperfections.

I'm still annoyed though as I agree with these prices we should be getting perfect bags lol

In your case I would contact CS for exchange online or ask the online CS team if they can arrange an in store exchange for you to inspect as your item is faulty. They were really helpful when I contacted them.

Hey thanks for the advice. I tried calling online advisor yesterday and they had me send a photo and said they’ll have a supervisor look at it and will get back to me in a couple days. I told my SA today about it and she just had me go in to exchange in store. I’m so thankful for my SA because the other store SA I talked to the other day when mine was off told me there’s nothing he could do about it. I didn’t think it was possible to exchange online purchase in stores until you mentioned it so thank you!
 
I would keep it because honestly I can’t tell if there is something there and it is inside it is hard to see. I am sure the online people will send u another one but this one may have something else worst than the one u got and I know you can only exchange one time. Nowadays u can’t find one in prefect condition.

Ya that was my fear about doing it online but luckily my store SA took care of me today. She said it’s glue and since it’s stuck on the suede it’s not something they can fix/repair. They had a brand new one in store and she let me exchange it after I inspect that it was perfect. It’s crazy how response is different depending on who you talk to.. and it’s in the same store!
