OK so I am trying to decide between 2 bags. The first is Alexander Wang iridescent(rainbow/oil slick) stud bucket bag and DVF secret agent bag and interchangeable extra zip on fringe front pocket. Advice please I only plan on getting one. I love both. Wang or DVF???

They are very different styles. The AW is more casual and fun because of the colored studs. I have also heard that the AW bags are heavy because of the bottom studs. The DVF bag is more tailored, structured, and business-like. I think it depends on the look you are trying to achieve and your main use for the bag. Also, the AW is a shoulder bag and the DVF is handheld( unless the straps are long enough to go over the shoulder.
So it comes down to look(casual vs tailored), function ( play or work), and how you like carrying your bag( shoulder or hand held).

I have the AW Diego (generation before the Alpha) and I LOVE it! You just can't beat the style factor with an AW and I love those iridescent studs.

The Alpha will not be as heavy as the Diego because it has less studs and compartments, so I don't think the weight will be an issue for you.

The DFW (no offense to anyone who might own this bag) looks cheap to me in the stock photos. Also the detachable pouch concept is way gimmicky.

Depending what you need it for, but if it's just to be a cool bag, I'd go with the AW.

DVF for me all day. but it will depend on what you are using it for. If you are a student, and want something more casual, AW, however if you are a professional and want something more "Business like" definitely the DVF. I like the style and structure of the DVF far more, and definitely not a fan of the multi-color studs.

It so depends on your style. If you need a casual bag and don't mind a bag that weighs alot even when empty, I say go for the Wang. It's really pretty and laid back, but the studs at the bottom make it really heavy as it is.

If you need something formal and convertible, then DvF.

Thanks for everyone's advice. I have a bunch of bags so the casual/business difference between the 2 bags was not a sticking point for me. I went with the Alexander Wang. I will post pics when it arrives if anyone is interested.

Great choice! The colourful studs are such a nice touch. But I always wondered if the studs heavy? Are they solid metals or just look metal? For me, weight is always a concern as I have back problems.
