Hi ladies!

I'd taken a break from Cartier for years after "completing" (for the time being - then still fresh in my career :amuse:) my foundation everyday stack - YG 4 diamond love and YG plain love on my right arm. I also have a YG plain love cuff that I occasionally stack on the left arm with an Hermes CDC or Kelly double tour bracelet, but the occasions where I whip out the Hermes bracelets are few and far in-between, especially in this pandemic.

I've loved the regular diamond JUC FOREVER even though I was always on the fence about its price but I'm kicking myself for not biting the bullet and getting it earlier when it was around the HKD7X,XXX to 8X,000 mark. It's now gone up to HKD98,000 and, if a price increase happens in HK sooner this year, who knows what it'll go up to.

At the same time, I've always wanted to add a 10 diamond YG love to my stack one day, but given the price diff (HKD126,000 currently), that was more a distant fancy rather than something I had thought about spending right now. I know it's not a huge difference but the thin line between 5 and 6 figures does do a number on my head I guess! However, stalking threads here about similar topics, I've seen advice to buy the more expensive item first + stacking all loves is more carefree/worry-free than stacking JUC + loves IRL which has kind of swayed me towards the 10 diamond love too. I've also seen comments about the JUC not being comfy as a 24/7 piece for some people, but if I were to get it, I would definitely want to wear it 24/7.

I have tried on the JUC briefly in person but don't have the opportunity to see how it really sits and feels stacked for longer than 1 min at the store, or a few mins trying on my friend's JUC. I'm also aware of the JUC potentially sliding over the love when stacked even if it's sized down correctly from the love, and I am super OCD about scratches even though I'd had my loves for so long. Wearing the JUC on my left hand may be the more practical option which I could stack with the love cuff - but it still leaves me wanting to add to my 2-love stack on the right arm as I feel they're looking a little lonely these days :P:biggrin:. I will also add a tennis bracelet in the future but want to focus on Cartier right now given the prices of diamonds may be more stable than the ever-frequent price increases across all the luxury brands!

Apologies for the long post and thank you for reading if you've made it this far! Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on which one you'd pick (this will be my only Cartier purchase for the year) if you were me, and why.:heart::heart:

For reference, I currently wear a classic and thin love 24/7.

I had a similar dilemma about a year ago (the best one to have ;) ) and went with the diamond JUC. My reasoning was I wanted something different. Now, that said, I don’t think I would have been unhappy had I gone with the ten diamond love. I think it’s just a different look. One thing that pushed me away from another love (and continues to, each time I consider adding another classic to my stack) is that there’s a limit to how many bracelets I’m comfortable wearing at one time. I keep feeling like two bracelets in a classic size that are meant to be worn 24/7 may ultimately be limiting when I want to wear other bracelets with them.

To the points you made, I don’t wear my JUC 24/7 and yes, it can overlap sometimes with the love even though it’s one size down. There ARE plenty of women on this board who wear their JUC 24/7, I just prefer not to sleep in something that has that width. The loves just lay flat and you forget they’re there.

I think given the points you made, you may be happier going with the love. It’s a tough choice though. Each are beautiful And have their own unique qualities. Looking forward to hearing what you choose!

Some photos of me trying on my friend's JUC along with my VCA Alhambra and love cuff - unfortunately only found pics of me trying on the non-diamond JUC at the store but there is almost something weird about it with my loves? Maybe the crappy lighting and lack of diamonds...

Unfortunately I haven't tried on the 10 diamond love in-store yet due to the recent local Covid situation, so no pics!

Thank you for your thoughts!! :hugs:I was just reading your thread last night (but didn't want to interject with my own rambling) and I'm really glad to hear you went with the JUC - which looks amazing with your stack! How often do you wear your JUC nowadays, and for how long at a time? Do you notice any issues other than comfort / not wanting to wear it during sleeping etc so you remove it?

I do think my heart sings a bit more for the JUC, but I'm probably overthinking in my OCD/paranoid state about upkeep and co-existing with the loves.

I just got a diamond regular JUC and absolutely love it. No regrets. I don’t wear it 24/7 though and it can sometimes get uncomfortable when I’m wearing a coat with tight-fitting sleeves or when something presses against it. But it doesn’t bother me otherwise. Since you already have three Loves I would branch out. The JuC is truly a stunning piece and it looks amazing on you.

Thank you to everyone who's voted and commented so far

I just wanted to say that the Juc overlaps a lot more with the cuff, at least that is my experience

Ahh thank you for your input on this :amuse: good to know and keep in mind! I think as I don't wear and baby my cuff as much, I would be more ok with the JUC overlapping with it than the loves. Or, I just need to stack something inbetween...

Could you elaborate more? :flowers:

Thank you so much for your feedback (and defo something to keep in mind for winter re the sleeves)! You're swaying me hard!

I picked diamond juc. It’s a gorgeous bracelet and quite unique to those who don’t know Cartier. I love mine

Also very true :) thank you!

Aw thanks and the JUC looks really great in the pics you posted too!! I wear my JUC often, usually for the day. No issues, it’s comfortable and I love looking at it on my wrist. I hear you on worrying about the loves, but honestly I’ve told myself if I’m going to wear those loves forever which is what I intend on, I don’t want to forever be limited on which bracelets get stacked with it. I haven‘t noticed any noticeable wear from stacking them together. Lately I wear my clash in between but even when I don’t, it seems to be ok. My classic Love is 4yrs old.

I think at these price points it makes to overthink a bit because you want to make sure you‘re a making the right choice! I know I leaned toward the ten diamond love originally for you but after seeing those pics I’m on team JUC!

Hehe thank you!! I'm very sold on team JUC now   and the bolded part - such a great sentiment. They are indeed forever pieces and why should we limit ourselves when we'll hopefully be adding everything we want in good time. You're so right!

So... I finally bit the bullet and placed an order for the YG diamond JUC in size 15 at my boutique since there was only one other size 15 in the city at another store :loveeyes: it should arrive from Paris this weekend!! Thank you everyone for your input.

In the meantime, here's some modelling pics of me trying on the small (size 15) and reg (size 16) (small was very underwhelming for me, especially next to my love stack), plus the thin diamond pave love - it's such a gorgeous combo IRL (lighting doesn't do it justice in the photo)! Definitely something to put on the wishlist next :happydance:

I also found it very scary the way you need to bend and practically tear apart the small JUC to take it on/off!
