Adding a chanel 19 to my collection - opinions please!

Hi everyone,

I want to add a chanel 19 to my collection. I have a jumbo in caviar with GHW, a black trendy with ghw, a beige trendy with ghw and a coco handle in pale lilac.

I got a good deal from a reseller for a chanel 19 from 21b....more than £500 less than retail, but I wonder if its too similar in colour to the coco handle? I do have a lot of black bags and thought this could be a nice neutral, but I'm now wondering if it's less vwrsatile than a black or tan colour. What do you guys think? Pics of the coco handle and new 19 attached.

No I think they are both different enough to justify both in your collection. The 19 is a more casual bag that the coco handle. I think the 19 in that colour is stunning. Much nicer than a black or tan. I say keep the 19 in this colour

Thanks for your views. The 19 is actually a very pale lilac from 21b, which looks like a neutral in some lights. I do love it.. .I think you've all persuaded me to keep it!

Oh wow, the 19 looks like a light gray in the photo. Can’t see lilac at all in that light.

I think the 19 is so cool/ chic, it looks best in black, white or grey only. I don't even think tan does it justice.

So your choice makes sense.

Yes - maybe too much to have both in that colour? Its really beautiful but I'm not sure if I'll use it enough.

My chanel 19 is my most used chanel bag. I have it in black. Your bag looks gorgeous, I agree it does look more grayish in the picture. I too agree that the coco handle is a totally different style, so I defintely don't think it's too much to have two bags in a similar shade. My chanel 19 is black, and I also have a black mini rect.
