Sadly, I live in the middle of a luxury boutique wasteland. There is not a single higher end shop in my state. I know I can do online shopping, but I'm a bit old fashioned, a try it before you buy it kinda girl. Not to mention the fact that I don't like like those gorgeous willowy creatures modeling this stuff! Anyway, there IS a Ferragamo Outlet about an hours drive away, next state over. Is there a way to tell last season product from made for outlet product?

At the Ferragamo outlet you will find last season unsold items at substantial savings. Ferragamo does not make “outlet” goods
That is very good point. I got my Ferragamo bag from Hong Kong and I saw it on their official webpage too.
Everything I have seen at my outlet has been past season leftover stock. I've never seen any MFO items, I don't think Ferragamo do this. You should be able to find all of the items at the outlet from past collections online. I did this with both of my Studio bags, they were past season and I got them both for 40-50% off!
Did you try calling them? In the past they have been able to help me with shoes by phone, but that was a couple of years ago.
I was at the Woodbury common outlet at the start of June and they didn’t have a lot of bags. There was a lime green bucket style mini bag that caught my eye but I’d already bought a few items elsewhere (Bogner ski jacket plus a few bracelets from Mulberry) so couldn’t justify spending $990 on that I’m afraid so just bought a belt there as was after one of those.
