Abekani Bag, a made in Indonesia bag

She has just arrived yesterday, and I absolutely love it!
it's not a branded bag, it's a local custom made bag, it doesn't cost humongous bucks, it's pretty, it's pink, and it's roomy. it's the perfect bag for me.

Abekani C-Bag, medium size

the shape was inspired by LC Cuir, but the lining and the flap are different than LC. I spent only $46 and I couldn't ask anything better than this one for the price.

the bag used cowhide chrome tanned leather I think, I don't exactly know what kind of tanning process they do, but the surface of the leather seems smooth and less grainy.

So pretty, congrats! I'm so proud my country could produce such high quality bag! It sure looks more expensive than the price.

Do you know if this bag is available in malls or department stores, or just in particular big cities? You mentioned the bag has just "arrived" so I assume it was ordered online. I don't live in Indonesia right now but I'd like to recommend it to my family ^^ I know another great Indo brand: Gobelini that I have a couple of and still use it semi-regularly.

If possible could you please post any modeling pics? from the picture it looks like the strap is double layered? Just wondering

this bag is not available at the malls yet. it is produced by a leather producers in Jogja and if we want to get it we have to join pre-order. now a days it's getting more difficult to get this bag since Abekani has become such a hype among bag lovers in Indonesia.

You could probably visit its facebook page, Abekani Jogja, you'll get an idea how popular Abekani among other local leather brand.

oh, and yes, it has an adjustable double layered strap.
