A Weekend in New York - Shopping at Tiffany's

I had already planned a quick trip to New York to see a show, so when I realized it as also the anniversary of my weight loss it seemed like a sign to splurge on something I had been looking at for a while...

And by looking at, I mean staring at endlessly online at the Tiffany's site. At the store in SCP. Online at other places.
Stacking them over and over and over, to see which one I liked the best. :roflmfao:

In my head, buying it at 5th Avenue was way more special than going to SCP, even though that's the store where I've bought all of my pieces before. Even though it's several thousand miles closer and all. :p

For better or for worse, the day we were going shopping was also free silver polishing day *AND* their Rubedo event. I refused to think about not going, so we pushed ahead after stopping at my favorite bakery for cookies to bring home (37 hours in New York, Levain-Tiffany-Newsies, check!).

It was one of the best shopping experiences I've ever had at Tiffany's, and that includes the time the salesman remembered me after 18 months when I bought my DBTY necklace (the 50lbs lost treat). The salesman was kind and patient while I considered, he offered his opinion and we had a great discussion about the the store itself. After I finally decided on the Jazz Band, we did a little Birkin spying, had a refreshing beverage and left feeling taken care of...until we ventured into silver land, which was HOPPING.

But? Best morning EVER! And I'm already thinking about another ring to start my own stack.

Congratulations on your great trip and such a gorgeous ring! Love it! Hope to see some more pics :smile1:

Thank you! There will probably be more pictures, I'm trying to figure out how to take a photo with my left hand since I'm using it as a right-hand ring. And? I'm going for my first ever manicure tomorrow and growing out my nails - right now they are too scary looking for a photo! :roflmfao:

Beautiful! And congratulations on your journey!!!

Thank you!

pretty, love the antique look to it, congrats

In person, it just seemed to be both modern and vintage. The movement with the larger and smaller diamonds is so pretty!

Beautiful, I love it!!

Thank you!

Great ring, great story, great day. Many happy memories!

Thank you - I'm still in the *just staring at my hand* stage and it makes me smile!

What a great story!!!!! I cannot wait to visit the NY store one day... and I am not leaving without something sparkly that's for sure!!! Love the ring!

I've been lurking long enough to know that you *couldn't* leave the NY store without something sparkly. :graucho:
Thank you!

So perfect and pretty! I was in New York 2 weeks ago and, of course, went to Levain for my favorite cookie of all time! I go there every time we visit NYC!

Levain was literally our second stop - the first being the hotel. :D We walked (to counter-act the treats) and it was such a lovely morning!

Gorgeous!!! I can't wait for the modeling pic.

Thank you!

gorgeous! and congrats on your weight loss anniversary :D

Thank you - as you can tell, I discovered I can *totally* be bought. The 50lb. and 75lb. "treats" were a platinum DBTY necklace and a pair of simple studs.

Gorgeous! Enjoy, she is beautiful and so sparkly. Congrats on your weight loss. You deserve this for all of your hard work!

Thank you! I can't believe it's been six years.

I love it! The celebration rings are so cool. Love all the different stacking options. I already have three and I'm sure I'll add more one day.

I believe I am now addicted. :p

excellent choice! Tiffany celebration rings are so fun and love the options to create your own stack!

I know, even though I'm officially "finished" - I've been doing different stacks all week on the website. Ha!
