I promised myself I would not post anything on TPF unless it was an exceptional over the top experience and my most recent experience at Cartier Valley fair mall was post worthy!
So I have been obsessing about buying my first Cartier watch for a while now. I was torn between buying it from Saks where I possibly could get a Gift card during a promo period or buy it from the actual boutique and get the complete Cartier experience. But I had my hesitations. I was intimidated. I wanted to look but did not want to feel pressured to buy. I stepped in and boy were they busy. I walked around looked at glass displays but all the SA's were helping someone so I left at first then came back when it looked slower. A female SA approached me and helped me take a look at the 2 styles I was interested in and gave me her opinion of what she thought fit me better. I ended up applying for their red card which was 12 months interest free and bringing home what I thought was the watch I wanted.
After staring at it for a couple of days and hearing feedback from family and friends I was distraught. Did I just pay that much for a watch I wasn't completely happy with?
I took my chance to call the lady who assisted me and as I glanced at her card she wasn't an SA she happened to be the Boutique Director!! I was really nervous calling expecting her to say there was nothing she could do but Instead she offered to help me find the watch that would make me happy.
Shout out to Cartier Boutique Director, Anna and her awesome staff!! She patiently helped me with a genuine smile and kindness. I walked out with my dream watch and a ring and she even credited my card back instead of just issuing store credit for the difference!! Cartier Valley fair rocks!!!
