I had a lovely weekend away in York and to celebrate being one year older and definitely no wiser, I couldn't resist picking up a sparkly little something.
Now a few months ago, I had a massive guilt trip buying a new bag (lovely lexy): I had just had a really bad day and had been told I almost certainly have a rare-ish (but not fatal don't worry!!!) medical condition. Not going to overshare and go into details but it was a bit of a shock and more tests are pending.
Anyway - since then I appear to have mentally gone ' ARRGGHHH f**k it' and gone spending crazy and bought 2 more and eyeing up SS11!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its a seriously expensive habit but its cheering me up and this forum is seriously enabling so I actually don't care a bit. I'll stop, or slow down, soon (possibly) but until then:
Here is sparkly, metallic, red leopard, CB bag twin, fob-less but who cares, LILY!!!!!!!!! modelled with both casual and seriously glam (was seeing if I could still fit into my va va voom party dress) clothes

Wow, it's gorgeous, and so are you!! Your hair looks TDF and I wish I had your figure too!!
Hope everything goes OK with the tests etc and I totally know how you feel - I went on a bit of a spending spree a few years ago, when I was suspected of having diabetes. Luckily I wasn't, but unluckily the spending wasn't even on lovely Mulberries!!

You look fabulous Midlands Lass. The dress is one hot dress!
Hope that the condition is only minor and not too worrying.

the dress is by a US company called 'stop staring' who specialise in 40's, 50's era style clothes. Not as easy to get in the uk but very recommended if you can track them down. they seem to 'suck in' and 'push up' the bits that need it.

Medical thing is weird really. Chances are I will spend the whole of my life being totally fine and I feel as fit as a fiddle but I may need to take medication as a preventative thing for life which is a bit weird as I feel so very fine. and It may effect my decision as to whether to have kids or not. oh - and I am not allowed to go scuba diving so no big deal there!!!!!!!!

I know how you feel though Lady F, its a bit of a shock to the system. retail therapy seriously seems to help though and the side effect is I am getting a lovely collection!!

Ohhh ML they are really gorgeous and you do have a stunning figure.....

Sorry to hear about your medical issue and I know what you mean. I was told I had an overactive thyroid...... Cutting a long story short I eventually had to have treatment to basically kill it and am now permanently taking medication. I feel perfectly normal so don't worry if you also need to take tablets, you will be fine I'm sure. You get used to it....... Sorry about the kids thing though, that must be a real bummer...

As for the Scuba diving, that would be the worst for me since it's mine and my OH's hobby. I would hate not being able to do that.......But I know it's not everyones cup of tea.:P

I have the same Mulberry habit now and don't see myself stopping anytime soon, so don't worry, you are not alone.;)
