made me the perfect black clutch!

I recently purchased a vintage coach purse on ebay. it looked like this when I received it:

Since I'm not a big fan of the long strap style, I decided to dig through my handy jewelry-making kit and found some old chain to replace the leather strap!

and voila! my new and improved clutch!

The moral of the story: You can make a cute purse out of a sow's ear (as long as you start with Coach!)

Thanks girls! I was looking for ANY excuse to take a study break. This was really easy to do! All I needed was a pair of pliers + chain + jumprings and 5 minutes.

I'd like to see if anyone else has ideas...
