I got a great deal on the zucca spy w/ tortuga handles and great brown leather on bluefly's popup sale last fall and barely used it as I had another love at the time. The leather is showing signs of wear already. When I spend alot on a handbag I always expect it to stay in great shape for a long time. Any thoughts?

i owned this very same bag a couple years back, but i paid almost $2000, full price, for it. I had the exact same issues, the leather on the handles was cracking badly, so i sold it on flea bay and took a huge loss....and i didn't buy another spy bag until a couple months ago.....it took me a while to take a chance on fendi again, but so far i am pleased with the overall quality, but admit I will not carry my new spy as an everyday knock around bag (tAUPE spy- see the thread "oh my, how i love my new spy"). I just don't think the spy bags can stand up to every day wear....

Yours is a beauty and that was making me think I should get the full leather, but I like to have the option to wear the bag constantly. I wonder why the pebbled leather isn't really tough...I would think it should be. thank you.
