Is the interior leather the same type of grain as the leather on the outside? The inside is chèvre.
Yes it is. When I first order this SO, I asked for a different color combination but because it is 2 different leathers, it didn't get approved.
congrats! your SO is absolutely gorgeous! The exterior also looks like clemence to me. I own chevre SO too and I am pretty sure it's not chevre. In fact the color Blanc/white is not even offered in chevre in the past few rounds of SO. it only comes in either clemence or epsom (just double checked the offering sheet). it might be a confusion? The bag is stunning regardless of what type of leather it actually is.
2 different leathers?
Birkin always lined in chèvre. The SO is for the exterior leather dear.
Sorry if I confused you I mean only 1 type of leather because my initial order were 2 different types of leathers and didn't approve.
I checked receipts but the only thing on the receipt was special configuration. I emailed my SA to clear up will keep you guys updated.
Interesting. The leather looks more like Togo or Clemence than Chèvre. Am I just getting older?
