Big shout for my DH who doesn't "get it" either, but enjoys that I enjoy my handbags. You also gotta love a DH that gives you money to blow when you go to the first tPF meeting at Southpark Mall in Charlotte!!:yahoo:

Ok...My DH changes diapers and does laundrey (without being asked) and the coolest thing...we went to the park once with another couple who has a special needs child also, their son can walk but doesn't communicate with others, well his dad ignores him the whole time and is arguing with the mom to watch him, he was embarressed by his kid. My son could not walk at all at the time and my husband carried and ran with him all over the park, up the jungle gym, down the slide, everything and afterwards said he wanted him to know how it felt to run and play like the other kids. He gets a big shout from me for that, one of the best dad's ever!
