I need your opinion please.
I already own a 28mm yellow gold Rolex with mother of pearl face, diamond bezel, diamond markers and the president bracelet. I've had it for about 7 years and I love it.
Lately I've been thinking that I would like the same watch, but in the larger 36mm size. I would have to trade the 28mm in to get the 31mm.
Okay, here's the dilemma- I don't think that I can get the 31mm with the diamonds and M of P face. No extra stuff, just the watch itself.
Do you think that I should just keep the watch that I have now or should I trade it in and get the 31mm without any diamonds?
Thanks!

I think you should trade, but get the watch specs you want. If that means diamonds, get it with diamonds. It may take saving for a while to do this, but why have regrets when Rolex can give you the combo you really love. If you want to economize, go with the MOP or the diamonds rather than both...but consider at least getting one.

By the way your post was a little confusing. There's a 26mm ladies and a 29mm ladies, but not a 28. And you said you wanted 36mm but then said you want 31mm. I'm not clear which watch you're going from and to, but my point remains the same.

Sorry for all the confusion.
I do have the 26mm and was thinking
of getting the 31mm, but my DH
convinced me to go with the 36mm.
I decided to keep what I have now
and not downgrade to get the 36mm.
Thanks for all your help.
Hopefully, I'll be able to get the 36mm
with all the extras sometime in the
future. And if not, well what I have
now ain't so bad :)

Keep your existing watch...sounds divine. I wouldn't trade in the diamond markers and MOP dial for something without both.

If you want to get a 31mm/36mm watch, maybe forget about the all gold one and have you considered the new two tone 46 diamond bezel 31mm with diamond markers and MOP? There's still savings compared to all gold 36mm without diamond markers and MOP.
