A Rolex and a Chanel j12?

Does anyone have both a rolex and a chanel J12? If so, do you prefer one over the other? Which do you get most compliments on? It seems that many of you have a couple rolexes or a couple J12s - curious if anyone has both?:yes:

They are so different looking so its hard to compare. I get more comments on the j12 only because its not very common. People usually ask "what kind of watch is that?", "what's it made of?".

I have a cartier tank and a Chanel J12. I use my cartier for daytime and work, but wear the Chanel for evenings and when im playing!
Definately get a comment EVERY time i wear my chanel lol

I currently have a Rolex and I had a J12.........no one notices either of them so :shrugs:

Whats important is that YOU like it........I mean you are not buying it for everyone else right??

BTW, now that search is back...there are a LOT of Rolex vs. J12 threads from the past that you can pull up for even more info :yes:

i have both...and i love both too! :love: they are completely different. rolex is more classic and formal while the J12 is more modern and casual ;) though i get more compliments on J12. but i guess that's because rolex (from where i live) are already very common while the J12 isnt ;)

I have both and have worn the J12 non-stop since I got it at Christmas and the Rolex has been in its box, BUT I think that in the long term the rolex will be my favourite of the two.

I agree that they are pretty different watches. If getting both eventually is an option, I think they are definitely different enough! The j12 is a pretty large substantial watch and is unique looking so it will most likely draw a lot of comments, while Rolex is a bit of a more classic, traditional style watch. I think that a larger size Rolex can also have a simialar more sporty oversized look as the j12 if you are looking for an attention getting watch. However, I have a ladies size Rolex and I get compliments on it all the time!
