Too funky for a middle aged broad? I'm going to a wedding, wearing a very conservative camel sheath dress (actually from Talbots--and i NEVER shop at talbots...usually a little too much doo-dah on the clothing, but I checked out their sale rack and found a very neutral lady-like dress...just a smidge of doo-dah looping stuff around the neck, but not too much.) Anyway I was going to wear a pair of cute S. Weitsman sandals with a little leopard strip down the center but these came faster than I thought and now....I need to make a quickie decision (since if I'm wearing them I'm keeping them)
Here is a terrible photo of dress/shoes and then one of just shoes.
They are an 8.5...an 8 might fit better--I sometimes wear an 8 in sandals, but then again an 8 might be too small (I have that issue where if a peep toe is too small and it smushes my toes too hard in the opening--I'm a wienie about that) Endless doesn't have an 8...Loeffler Randall does if I want to drop an additional $100. Sigh. (also sorry about the ugly broken toenail on the R foot--a piece of furniture did that months ago. It's almost grown out...sigh)
So many decisions. What would you dedicated shoe ladies do?
