Be careful of this one..... the Marcelle did not come in dark brown. It came in Desert (unfinished tan), Ivory, Black, Olive (green), Toffee (red brown) and Cognac (warm tan/brown with sheen). Every one of these colors save the Desert was a 'smooth' leather for the most part. The Black and Cognac has some texture to them but none of them were pebbled. The Desert has much more texture than the others but still no pebbled leather.

This one is a case of Keyword spamming...seller clearly states it is an inspired handbag, but is still using "Kooba" in the title. For those who don't read descriptions, this might be a problem, since the BIN is low for a Kooba Marcelle.

No, actually it's real. It's an Emma bag. Similar to the Sienna. I remember they did release a white with gold lacing.
I wrote to the seller of this bag to inform her it was fake. She asked where the forum is and is trying to figure out why the bag is fake. She is not in denial but she got the bags from a multi-millionaire and assumes they must be real. I gave her the address here so if she comes on to ask questions can all Marcelle people chime in. Thanks.
I don't think they made an actual Rust color in the Sienna. But they did make an Orange...or maybe it was called Burnt Orange. This one is probably that.
They made a Casey and a Tatum in Rust in 05 but I had the Tatum and it was deep and distressed. Here is a Burnt Orange Frankie from 05 and the Rust Tatum.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I'm scared this may be fake. I read somewhere that if the tag has a plastic loop instead of brown string it's fake, but on replica websites, the knockoff of the chiara has thicker leather

I think it is real. The seller explains the tag was removed and re-attached. In Spring 2006 they put out a Ivory and a Sand Chiara. Not sure which one this is. Maybe it is Sand and the flash bleached the color out.
Will do. I'd like the name of the multi-millionaire. Love to know what other fakes they have so I can keep an eye out on 'bay and avoid them like the plague....
