My grandfather's hobby was growing orchids and my mom grows them too. They're decently hardy plants but are very picky on when they want to sprout new growth and bloom. When the environment is right, they grow very quickly, but when it's not to their liking they sit and wait until the time is right haha.
As promised, orchid is starting to bloom~

Here are my two Begonias!
I jumped on the Maculata trend and bought one for my birthday. It has new growth and is looking nice. It dropped two flowers, maybe from the shock of bringing her home. They can be pretty divas...
This begonia was my grandma's. I don't know the name. The mother plant was passed down to my mom and now everyone has cuttings or a full plant. I killed my first one but this one seems to be surviving... The pot is very ugly but I'm too afraid to move it, so maybe I'll get a cover up pot.
