I was just wondering what you all thought about this, I know it is highly desirable to some. It's just that sometimes I see a pre-loved bag and I can't tell which it is, how do you feel about it?

Patina is not neglected & filthy mess.

It can be faked. But looks fake.

Time, normal use & continued maintenance create patina.
It is another way to describe authentic character.

Most older items, with true patina, are not filthy.
They have a few scuffs or stains, but glow.
Because someone gave a f*** about them lasting & looking nice through years.

Hope helps.
