Thank you for your replies. Looking at the pictures side by side I think I prefer the Melie. Would it be wrong to have both? Do you think I'd use them both? I use a hobo for my everyday bag then a Neverfull for days out, holidays etc x

The Metis is such an awesome bag. It was my favorite bag ever, but got tiny cracks and I had to trade it in. The Melie has major issues with the corners that I'm not sure have been fixed. Might want to check in the clubhouse. I have the Bagatelle now and that's a great bag just a lot more expensive. Someone mentioned Artsy. It's pretty but totally uncomfortable and not really a shoulder bag. I own it and rarely carry it.

I'm looking for a new hobo. Which would be the best ... a metis hobo or Melie? Please help? View attachment 3705525View attachment 3705526
I really like the look of the Melie but some strap drops on hobo's are kinda short and the bag feels jammed in your armpit and doesn't stay put. I went REALLY old school and bought a pre loved GM bolougne 35. Completely adjustable shoulder strap goes right into a crossbody with only a buckle adjustment and you only have one strap to deal with and a padded shoulder. Its not a popular style due to the age but i really like it.

Have you looked at other hobos?

The Artsy is a classic (of which I own 2 so I am biased) but right now I love the Tuileries and the Triangle Softy. The latter in malletage is to die for!

Is the Triangle Softy in stores already?
