Has there always been a Second chapter? Or is this something new?
I personally, down't remember a 'second chapter' of any season
Previous Fall was the first 'second chapter' I believe in New York:
It's positioning the collection as "the second chapter" of Fall 2024, which walked the runway in Paris back in March. It's perhaps comparable to Cruise or Resort 2025.
There was an Act II last year. RTW from both melds in my mind bc the pieces tend to be late in store arrival or not show up at all. But, last year it was billed as a bit of new inspiration if I recall correctly.

Also - idk if that's the rivale belt on top of the skirt, but if it is I definitely need it. Hoping more come in store soon, I asked my SA last time I was in and she said they haven't gotten too many yet.
I always used to wear a (non H) python pouch for small mobile phone around my neck and my H SA used to scold me. How times have changed - I could just about get my phone in that K.
For A/W, I guess we all have to accessorise with those 15k (non noise cancelling) headphones. 🤭

They are very pretty but for 15K, they better give me the hearing of a bat!
The show itself was an organic continuation of part 1 but there was something with the staging that didn't work for me. The models just flew by too quickly in front of the camera for me to really look at the outfits. I did, however, LOVE those sparkly boots! I'm sure we'll be seeing outfit photos soon enough.
Let's begin with the positive: there was a LOT to see and therefore a lot to 'choose' from. But because of this rather extreme layering/heaviness the individual pieces were difficult to see and appreciated. Overall it seemed a continuation of the precious Fall/Winter collection, also the dark colours, while this is considered resort and therefore, I would expect a bit more lightness in the designs and not just fulfilling the brief with a bunch of shorts. Also, it seems Nadège uses in my opinion far too often shorts/cropped tops etc. for trying to give the collection I think a more youthful vibe, but it doesn't work, it makes it more basic. Why not a few wider/fitted pants and longer skirts to give it a bit more elegance/chicness, less layering and let the pieces shine on itself. And less but better pieces. A lot of pieces looked too much like workwear/basics. Where is the sophisticated H woman? Nadège her collections always make me yearn for the magnificent collections Jean Paul Gaultier and Lemaire designed. Can we make the past the present lol.
