A Most Special Reveal

So for some reason my recent posts/purchases have been rather sentimental, almost sappy, and this one is no different. For as long as I can remember growing up (before I even knew about Hermes, LV, etc.) I had always known about Chanel and thought of them as a brass ring of status bags. Only famous people carried them, they were super exclusive and so unattainable I would probably never have one. Fast forward to today, I got a very special delivery to my front door, who is up for a reveal?

Now before I take a picture of the whole bag, not only is this a sentimental reveal because of what I said in Post #1 but also because of the way I have acquired it. I know this bag was not at all an exclusive bag and was actually priced far under the classics and such, but I live in the US so a pristine bag was almost impossible to find without contacts. Someone I knew of had actually purchased one in November or October, but she lives in Europe so she still had access. I contacted her asking her what she thought the best way of finding one would be (calling boutiques in Europe, going preloved, etc.) and she put me in contact with someone in the States she knew was looking to sell one. About a million details later, she (Lovely Lady #1) gave me her (Lovely Lady #2) contact info, and about a week and a half later here I am! So very nice of both of them, when I say this is a dream come true, I mean it in the most sincere way possible.

I hesitate to share the names or even initials of the two wonderful ladies that helped me get her, only because I think they both appreciate their privacy and I would hate for anyone on a hunt for something similar to bother them, I was extremely lucky and it's not that I'm trying to be selfish with contacts but I'm just unsure if they would appreciate me putting them both out there (I think they're actually both on TPF even though this is not how I contacted either of them but if they would like to reveal themselves here they are of course welcome to).

Now, onto the bag itself!

Introducing, my amazing dream come true: Chanel GST with Silver hardware!! Everything from the plastic on the hardware to the tag on the handles is still on this bag, there is not a stitch out of place (sorry for the over exposure on the tag and hardware, I wanted to get a full shot of the quilting).

She is my first, and probably only, Chanel. The 12 year old me mesmerized by the brand wouldn't even believe this is possible, so again to the Lovely Ladies that helped me out, I am eternally grateful.
